Benefits of SAASLA Membership

Membership enables you to receive or access the following:

• Professional Learning Events and Programs
  SAASLA conduct an annual conference and other Area School orientated professional development opportunities. Members receive a discounted conference registration fee.
• Member Communications
  SAASLA chat list, Executive Summaries, SAASLA communications
• Voting Rights
  All individual and School Members maintain voting rights for the selection of Executive Members and other constitutional matters.
• Professional Networks
  SAASLA working parties and focus groups, network with Area School Principals and leaders.
• Sponsor/Business Partners
  SAASLA is supported by a number of business partners/sponsors who understand the needs of country schools and offer quality services and products

Who is eligible for membership?

Full Membership (B1-A9 level) is open to all Principals, Deputy Principals, Assistant Principals and Leaders in South Australia Department for Education (DfE) Area schools along with Primary and Secondary schools. Membership is also available to educational leaders in the Education Department’s corporate sector who have previously been a Principal, Deputy Principal, Assistant Principal or Leaders in a school.

Membership can be taken out individually (eligible for tax deduction) or via an annual School Membership ($500pa) which includes membership for Principal and two nominated Leaders.
